Topic: Apple's Write program makes me want a Macbook.

Not sure why, but this word processor is nice to use and I think they have features that you cannot get in LibreOffice, OpenOffice, or Microsoft Word. I like how they have settings to make book covers and write a book essentially. The interface feels very nice and even on mobile. This program alone makes me wish I had a Macbook.

i used to have a word processor back in the day. this one time, when i was younger, i let it run a demo/test and it would type a bunch of shit on its own and it'd freak out my baby cousin when she came over.

lol that makes me remember the chain saw sounding printer I had for my first MAC. Had to switch the huge floppy disc from OS side to make something work side.

Yea and I used that printer WP Mac for serious work and broke something and ran off to a computer spot in Santa Monica Ca. Repair was on the spot so no problem and one of my great regrets was - Whoopie Goldberg was in that store at a computer for some training and she kept looking at me and I so wanted to just say thanks for being in Star Trek but I had a personal policy of not talking to movie tv stars. So I walked out of that store the jerk I was at that time.
I bet I have that Mac and printer still in storage.

Shortly after 9/11, I began entering all possible dates into Wingdings and trying to read the future. My book, The Wingdings Prophecies, is coming out soon. Be sure to pre-order it if you want to know how the next decade is going to unfold. If you haven't experienced the sheer predictive power of Wingdings before, you'll be amazed. In the next two months, look out for someone giving the thumbs up sign to a telephone while stuffing a flag and a yin-yang symbol into a mailbox.

I should actually learn Wingdings and then set my browser font to it so people can't read what I'm reading.

Remind me to get a Q33NY shirt made. Only '90s kids will remember.

They did actually make a Macintosh with a double-sided 5.25" disk drive. It was a very early prototype though and never released for sale.
