Could be worse, my grandfather typically eats either "boiled dinner" or TV dinners. "Boiled dinner" is a slew of meat and vegetables boiled in plain water with no seasonings.

Bland food is why people used to be skinny. Now that food actually tastes good everyone's fat.

I'd believe it. He has a little bit of a belly, but he maintains a decent weight, and his doctor at the VA hospital says he's one of the healthiest he has ever seen. My grandfather is also 87 years old.

> England: 10,000 years of rich history and culture
No. Do you have any beaker-people recipes kicking around London? Are there druids advising you about what to eat? Don't claim that. It's not yours.
Your culture was won after some Danish fucks invaded some Celtic fucks after some Italian fucks left your island so that you could fight each other until some French fucks and some more Danish/Swedish/Norwegian fucks came over to fight it out over your land. You fuckers eventually made a culture out of the conquered bullshit that was left over. And that all happened in the last few thousand years. You had a good run at ruling the world, but you fucked it up. Deal with it. You got tea out of the deal. Just be fucking happy with that.

Actually there were some Britonnic fucks who were invaded by Italian fucks who were invaded by Saxon fucks who were invaded by Scandinavian fucks who were conquered by English fucks who were invaded by Norman fucks who had a good run but then lost to English fucks who were invaded by Dutch fucks who then lost Ireland.

Yeah, however you want to slice it, your culture is just the conqueror-of-the-century club just like every other culture out there. What you have you have now is just the stable point history has left to you.
Don't get me wrong, English history is fucking awesome. But for a stupid island on the edge of fucking nowhere you guys got invaded by everyone. Just trying to dissect the English language is a fucking trek into every other culture who stomped across your little piece of nowhere.

It's almost like we're educated people and can use the written word to make a thoughtful argument. I know it's not as easy as using old images to make a strawman argument about British hegemony, but some people like to think about things beyond what cartoons have to offer.
