I would urge anyone in the midwest to bring their cats inside. Your old people are probably experienced enough to figure it out. Any young assholes who trudge outside probably get what they deserve. But for the love of $deity just let your fucking cats in the house.

The towels merely insulate between the ground and the cats a bit..
I was in fact speaking from experience with several cats..
They curl up against one another in a big four bal a d generate quite a bit of heat..
Also the box should be of sufficient height as to to provide some protection from the wind..

All I know is they are tremendously better off that way in the cold..
Seldom it is when temps dip near zero here...I would suggest if anyone lives where it is ever going to be -50...their best course of action would be to seek psychological help for their awful decision making problems..
