I tried getting into them when WCW still existed and they had the Goldberg truck. I used to like the Gravedigger and Goldberg trucks, but monster trucks were kind of boring.

It's basically professional wrestling with trucks.

So do I. Wrestling is in such a shit place right now that you almost wish people still think it’s real. This new kayfabe shit isn’t the same.

Not really, it’s more like trying to adapt to a climate that isn’t like what it used to be. This new kayfabe mixes backstage politics with the on-screen events as an attempt to make things real again yet all you get are a bunch of smarks on the internet picking shit apart and turning on wrestlers because they don’t know if something is a work. It is genius on Vince’s part since now wrestling feels somewhat real again, but I don’t think it would ever be as big as it was during the prime of Hulk Hogan.

I suppose there is some hope though, but that depends on how well All Elite Wrestling does. Though I doubt they're going to be the new WCW.
Interesting how a Football team owner is getting into wrestling while Vince is trying to get into football... again.

It's nice to know there are wrestling hipsters that liked the early kayfabe better.

A new wrestling promotion starting up owned by the owner of the NFL football team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The new kayfabe consists of breaking the old kayfabe a lot. I’m doing it right now just by using industry terms like, “worked,” and “kayfabe.”
