Actually I have no real dislike for that not so much good attorney. Have not looked to see who is on her staff currently but wayyyyy back then she ran a Family Practice Law biz and her staff did not include one single CPA or a Lawyer familiar with US Tax Law. So at the very end She agreed with the Judge that Me and Ex wood share Tax returns with each other and then file. As simple as that was the language.
Law firm I used had a CPA/Lawyer - I asked him what he wood do and he said well now - So I sent a letter to IRS and told them they wood just have to wait a year or3 perhaps and I was willing to pay any fine or fee for late filing and wood just wait and wait and promised they wood get every penny they were owed.
What I needed to see was what Ex wood file for first and then get her to give up on waiting for me because there was no language in the final decree that forced me to file much less forced me to show mine before she she showed me hers.
Sure nuff her firm did not help her file and she got some lame tax people to file and well they sure had no clue how to maximize her return.
This was a gamble on my part. Wood I end up with lots of $$$$ and in excess to pay IRS all their late fees and fines and well Hot Damn I was more than Pleased that I made the rite decision.
Also Gloria's daughter worked as an intern were I was at but had a different last name so I had no clue about her connection and she shared something about Gloria that was heart breaking - Daughter was the product of a Rape - So with that info I always felt sorry for Gloria.
