@previous (E)No, but I think it is like having natural product in your hair. People put all sorts of lipid-based products into their hair to achieve the same effect. Here is an example of what I mean (pic).

I did not say that hair cleans itself. I said that I like hair to be oily to give it a certain look. Hair is naturally oily. The oils are there for a reason.
