Feels so arbitrary that I got the job i have, makes me think I'm lucky but the catch is that all that unemployed suffering, what about all of that? Was that just unlucky suffering?

Slavoj zizek talked about this once, it was in a video called "the pressure of meaning" and in it he used a example from the old testament. About some guy named Jake or jack something, he lost it all in a terrible fashion and wise men all had theories like he was being tested or angered God. Then God told him no, there was nothing behind it all.
