Topic: How do you all like my new Black Panther figure?

I wanted a figure of this character since he might be fun to pose with the cat appearance and I might be becoming a fan of Black Panther since the whole idea behind him is sort of fascinating. I mean, he's a king of a technologically advanced civilization that went into seclusion that is located on a continent that most people likely wouldn't expect such a civilization to be located.

This figure is very posable and posable in places I wasn't expecting. I got him for $17.14 during a closure sale for the last remaining Kmart store up here. He came with two heads, unmasked and mask, technically three, since it's a "build a figure" line but I don't give a shit about the other characters in the line or the character that you build when you complete the series. I am not unhappy with this purchase. This is a very nice figure.

If you mix etymologies from Africa and Japan, then Wakanda means 'Not-Family'. I dont read marvel comics, so I don't know if that makes sense, but I find it a bit interesting. It may even be a bit racist!

Well, Wakanda did sort of shut out the world and isolated themselves. I think in the comics they are withholding the cure for cancer too. They have this "Wakanda First" mentality.
