interns are usually unpaid in the states
Remember? Its "experience" because it isn't worth it for a company owner, who invests and risks so much, to pay a worthless replaceable intern
but it's experience! Good thing landlords only charge 500 experience for rent
Capitalism, bitch

Well, if you manage to get experience doing something practical (i.e. not pushing papers or jockeying a cash register) you could go into business for yourself as a freelancer.
But most people don't want to learn a trade or craft, they want to sit on their ass and read a marketing script in a call center.

yeah as if the market could absorb a consulting position for every worker
Or as if the education system teaches the skills necessary to recognize and/or take advantage of such opportunities
As if the current system could function without the 'useless' workers it loves to degrade

Few problems with that theory, Bert.
A.Internships are intended for college students, so they can get a feel for the job they are studying for. You didn't even attend college.
B.In most cases internships are offered to people, not applied for.
C.Since Trip is herself a student, she has no need to hire interns.
D.As Trip said, internships are unpaid. You need a paying job, if you are going to provide frozen pizzas or Marlboros in the soft pack to anybody.
Nice try, fag, but you will need to fill out a real application if you want me to stop asking about them.
P.S.Plan on filling out any applications today?

There is no good way to ensure that "everyone gets a fair share"... even if we divided the earth's resources equally between all people, that would just encourage a way higher birthrate, people would breed just to increase their family's holdings.
