It's Walmart's take on a convenience store. You can go in and get food, drinks, cigarettes, etc.
It exists for the same reason other convenience stores exist: sometimes you just want to grab a few things and go and not spend half an hour navigating a 200,000 square foot superstore.

I've seen lots of convenience stores that size. It's on the larger end of convenience stores, but still within the acceptable range. It's not that exciting to me but I wish Walmart well with their new store format. You gotta always trying new stuff, you know? Can't just rest on your laurels.
What I'd like to see is really upscale Walmarts next to the rich people malls that sell like Gucci and Armani and shit. That would be hella dope ??. They could have like personal shoppers and gold tinted windows. And mood lighting. And have the Walmart logo be in a nicer font.
