A reminder of what the Raw Green Beans look like - The object in cooking is to keep the color GREEN as can be. Cooking in a pot with lid on will make them cum out Dull Grey - Lid off and they end up Green - Cook to long and you get Green Mush

About 3 minutes or so - Test with fork - You don't probably want them hard to push fork in nor Mushy - So depending on how much or fast u boil just find a happy medium
