So what version or versions of what recipes did you use this tyme and looks like U forgot the Rice.
One reason you never see the rice mixed in and always in center n 2 the side is - Gumbo's are usually made spicy nuff that one needs the rice as a foil or interlude or whatever English term is more fitting

That is not authentic gumbo! It is pale yellow. Gumbo should be dark brown at least. And NO CARROTS dammit.

I had some carrots in the fridge that needed to be used. Next week ima going to cook authentic gumbo with fish. Now I need your help. Please please talk me through the process of making a perfect roux. If you do this for me I'll be on your side always.

Equal parts flour and butter. Medium heat. Stir, stir, stir. Do not stop stirring for even one second. It might take up to an hour. Once it reaches a chocolate brown color, take it off the heat immediately and add the trinity to it. Cook it one second too long, and it will burn. You will be able to smell if it is burnt.

You stir food for an entire hour straight? And that's just to start the recipe? This is retarded and why normal people eat fast food

There are a few who scrape away the corn and only eat the cob.
Also pigs eat plain cobs. People have choices. MR STEVEN MNUCHIN, enjoy the corn less cob.
