but I also raced ili and Google Translate going from English to Mandarin. They both were about the same on short sentences, with Translate having the edge on longer phrases. Since Google had the advantage of an Internet connection, this is actually rather impressive.
I also did some testing with my polyglot friend and she judged the Spanish translation to be quite good, with the Spanish being of the Castilian dialect.
