Henry Ford invented cars to drive on the right side, otherwise known as the correct side, of the road. The Brits only drive on the left side because they misunderstood patents and thought they had to do it to avoid a lawsuit. But that's been proven for quite some time. It was said, that many years ago Kenya, who drive on the left following colonial rule, decided to change to the right. Recognising that it was a major logistical problem The Ministry of Transport decreed that the change would take place in two stages. On the 1st April all light traffic would move to the right, with Heavy goods vehicles effecting the change a week later. ahahahahah I think they still drive on the left to this day.

Its to do with the placement of your sword, back in the day.
Most would be right handed, thus would have the sword on their left, and would walk on the left so the sword is easily drawn for swordfights and duels etc.
