Only someone with "full immersion" Chinese training, who knows the dark art of the sausage gumbo, would ever be able to introduce any sort of higher form of cuisine.

It is a proven fact Rice, the center piece of Gumbo, originated in Africa, the country that is the basis of Gumbo.
African Rice and American Chilies are the basis for Chinese food. Chinese food is really a mix of American and African entomology. The only real contribution of Chinese food is the wooden chop sticks, to eat the mix of American and African food.

If anyone ever offers "full immersion" training to teach you "the dark art of the sausage gumbo" you should probably turn around and run.
