This. I also can't believe how seriously everyone (including me) took New Atheism.
It was better when it was just him in his garage just messing around and talking shit. Now he's a professional and he has a fancy studio and Hollywood-level equipment and production values. It's just not as good. I think it's emblematic of what's happened to YouTube as a whole over the past decade. It sold out and now everyone's monetized and shilling products and it's just TV that happens to be on the internet.
