Topic: The HeShe and The Rag Head

Externally hosted imageInspired by the publishings of the Brothers Grimm, I attempted to write my own short tale, titled, The HeShe and The Rag Head.
There once lived a boy who knew he were a girl. The boy felt sad during the years of his youth. His parents believed it to be a phase, but when it didn’t go away. They knew something had to be done to make their son happy. This was when they knew they were blessed with a daughter.

Other children at school would often tease the girl. Thinking she was some kind of outcast except for a few loyal friends who didn’t harass. Complications with staff lead to a lawsuit. But the family pushed forward so they could give their daughter a good life. This was when she saw doctors and professionals in their craft. This was when she started to get on hormones, so puberty wouldn’t be a pain in the ass.

The unfortunate truth is that all the hormones she took left her privates a little too small to bear leaving usual methods of confirmation out of reach. But luckily, the doctors never gave up hope and found new ways of making her dreams come true. She also met a boy that the two connected so well. He was a young lad named Amir.

True happiness can come when you’re in a pit of despair, but you mustn’t lose hope or else you’re forever distressed.

Fun fact: This story and Marlon Bundo's Best Christmas Ever will later be published alongside each other in an anthology called "Creepy Things People Read in the 21st Century."

Yeah, though, I did sort of ripped off Jazz Jennings' book. The part about the lawsuit.

I could tell. A question. Do you think that you're life would be much better now, if your parents had acted similar to how Jazz' did regarding her gender issues?

I couldn't give a detailed answer since I was too afraid to tell my parents, but sometimes I do, yeah. Though right now, that's not a for sure yeah due to situations.

What situations?

The reason why I went on the hormone hiatus. Then again, my reasons for such a decision would likely not exist had things turned out differently. So I dunno.
