Externally hosted imageThe End is Nigh
It's time to say goodbye
Y'all who reject Jesus or Mohammad's words
Will be always thought of as nerds
Black, White, Brown, Asian, whatever
Your skin pigmentation doesn't matter
Gay, Straight, Bi, Trans, or Pans
We're the product of God's mighty hands
All a part of His great big plan
He's the author of all our lives
Directing scenarios to help us survive
In the rat race of living
To give us some meaning
So in the afterlife we could all be beaming
Bear in mind, he loves everyone
I consider that a home-run
If you're worried about your sins
Ask for forgiveness, He will be of assistance
It's his gift for Christmas

The light was actually a test rocket to see if the conditions are right for launch.

I'm betting the people in charge of launching flares and assessing pre-launch atmospheric conditions weren't the same people in charge of checking for fuel leaks.

Launching a modern rocket involves many different teams of people doing several different things - monitoring launch conditions in the air and on the ground, checking and rechecking every system on the rocket and in the control center, and generally making sure that things go according to plan. It would be a shame if a rocket went astray and crashed into a crowded shopping center somewhere five days before Christmas or just blew up taking millions of dollars of technology with it. They called off the launch because of a leak, but that doesn't mean everyone else wasn't busy doing their jobs up until that point.

Also, why do you keep saying "scrubbed" like you suddenly learned a new word?

My experience in launching as in Launch Commander is limited to 8 in total and "scrubbed" if you just do a search on that one word I bet you will C why that word WORKS.

Hey there is such a scramble for new companies in the launch biz these days. MASSIVE Numbers of Satellites are being planned - Waayyyyyyyy 2 many in my Consulting opinion - Things are going to be a real mess in the future as result but of course that will mean NEW Biz for people to solve the Mess after it's almost to late to fix it
