Topic: Women entering the workforce has been vastly impactful over the last 40 years.

Externally hosted imageNearly doubling the workforce suppressed wages hugely

Swathes of jobs were created to soak up the demand, particularly around HR, compliance etc

This is the main reason why productivity has cratered over the same period

Double-wage households chasing the same number of houses massively inflated housing costs over the same period

Our children end up being woken at 6am to be thrust into the care of minimum-wage paid uninterested careers, only to get taken back by tired parents at night. I honestly think this is going to lead to all sorts of social issues in years to come.
Having women in the workplace as implemented has basically lead to all the negative outcomes we see today, its been terrible for everyone.
What should have happened was a drive to have one parent working, of either sex, and the other be a stay-at-home care giver but this would not have been acceptable to the ideology of the day.
