I didn't say or mean that. But the majority of people who fought for an end to slavery were Christians. Most people were Christians then, and most people are Christians now.

Christianity is opposed to slavery, but was abused by powerful people to condone slavery. Ridiculous.
Most Christians have little to no understanding of Christian theology and are thus likely to: be corrupted by State religion (Europe) or be swayed by demagogues (USA) into doing things that are completely antithetical to Jesus' teachings, like war.
