Do you think it would be odd to let your family stay in your roommate's bederoom that he hasn't occuppied for months? I'd rather they be comfortable in a bed (with different sheets) rather than them sleeping on blow-up mattresses. The obvious thing is to ask the roommate. Even still, would that creep you out at a little?

Yes its a little weird but as long as your roommate approves, the room is clean, and the sheets are washed, it's better than sleeping on a blown up mattress somewhere on the floor.

I would say, give them your bed, make sure it is clean, and you sleep on the couch. It is the hospitable thing to do.
