Topic: If you had to choose sincerely between zizek or Jordan peterson?

I'd choose both. On youtube they can be found using movies to emphasize their points, i guess though that despite their uncanny resemblance, the main difference between them two is that zizek is all about changing the big picture, about changing capitalism by finding a new alternative. JP is skeptical about changing capitalism, it's not only that he hates communism, he hates how people are waiting for a alternative which he doesn't think will exist any time soon.

Even though you're just being funny, what if you weren't and you were serious? Then you'd better pray to God that your words are true, because if they aren't, you would be guilty of making the working class adapt to a system never arrived and therefore made them so much more defenseless against the system that currently is. This is a crime comparable to the holocaust.

I am being 100 percent serious and you should read my text voice in an intense manner. It is true. Europe is crying out for a revolution. Death to the bakers!

You're taking this keto diet way too seriously.

What do hardcore atheists do when they want to fuck up Christianity? They post pictures of roman soldiers fucking christ, Christianity survived even ib the soviet union which wanted them dead. Even the Christians themselves can be charged with the highest treason against Christianity with all the scandalous news involving priests and children, if you know what i mean.
I'm saying that physical violence is useless against a system if you don't have anything to replace it, can communism replace capitalism in Europe? Even if it could do that, could it somehow manage to survive the transitional terror which would happen as a result?

Your idea of "hardcore atheists" is some kids posting memes on Facebook?

A hardcore atheist isn't really something that exists, it's just a i use to represent the loudest of atheists which i guess are more likable than the loudest religious people. At the very worst, like hypothetically, a hardcore atheist would deny his own divinity, his individuality would be nothing special to him and neither would it be to anyone else nor theirs to him. When a family would die, he wouldn't worry because there's plenty of "families" in the broad scientific sense.

It sounds like you're describing an emotional problem rather than a theological one.

I think you are misperciving. To be fair, it can be alluring to not only see everyone as a number but my too. For example, a brutal maniac could violent appear and murder not only me but everyone i love, a horrible thing to imagine right? Well, it's not so horrible if you genuinely believe that the family next door is the same family as yours.

That sounds like a problem perceiving individual identity. I'm not sure what that has to do with spiritual beliefs.

It is a problem because it leaves out your own individuality. Your own sense of yourself isn't built on rationality, it's a complex psychological process which is fragile. I think that a "hardcore atheist" would prefer the rational over the irrational. Needs and desires aren't rational, like the needing of a God or the desiring of a after life.

What does?

I wouldn't go that far, but in my mind, a hardcore atheist would.

@previous (A)
Why do think that is an atheist belief? Why do you think rationality erodes a sense of individuality? Do you think individuality is essentially an irrational belief?
