The problem is that it's in Adelanto and I'm not going to get on the bus just to head out that way since it's a fucking ghetto. I don't think they deliver either. Plus I have no idea what to order as a first timer anyway. Suggestions on what kind of marijuana I should get?

Try something lower shelf, watch a good movie that isn't too terrifying and smoke an indica or maybe the sims and a sativa. Who knows everyone reacts to marijuana differently. Most dispensaries have someone who at least knows a little about marijuana and they may be able to guide your choice. Usually the weed will have a thc percentage on the label, and if it's a good spot they'll have the terpine profile listed too, and that can give you an insight to the high
