:P + π = 1
     - π  - π

:P ≃ -2.142

-2.142 + π = 1

:P = π - 1
:P = -2.1415 ≃ -2.142

If a function f(x) is continous on the interval [a,c]
If there exists a value m which is strictly between f(a) and f(c)
Then there exists at least one value b between a and c for which f(b) = c

The number π is not the root of a polynomial with integer coefficients. It is a Transcendental number.

Catherine you just might be a Transcendental number.
