Topic: Olive Garden Yelp reviews. 4 Stars Delish Stuffed Chicken Marsala, Yummy Seafood Alfredo

If I could give our server Heather 50 stars, I would! We came in on a busy Sunday with a party of 4, one of us was an elderly lady who suffers from dementia.

Heather handled us with kindness, patience, tolerance and a beautiful sense of humor! Our special guest had a few moments... Which were all handled by HEATHER with astounding care and understanding!

The food was consistent on the Olive Garden scale of expectations... Pretty darn good. Yummy fonduta, great soup salad and breadstix. I have eaten here for nearly 3 decades and the food is always exactly as expected. I can count on it being good.

That being said, in all of my experiences with this restaurant, this is the only time I felt quite moved to write a review due to the completely beyond stellar service from our server Heather! Wow! Just wow! There are truly angels among us!

It's good hearty family food... In a good happy family atmosphere. I'm sure we will eat here for decades to come.

Olive Garden in Houma is always a go to restaurant for me when I'm wanting something besides your typical steakhouse or seafood place. The prices are reasonable. I love the endless soup deals they sometimes offer.

When I go to Olive Garden. I start off with bread sticks with marinara sauce. I then order the calamari which in my opinion. Is the best appetizer on the menu.

I then order the Tuscany soup. It's a potato based cream soup with Italian sausage kale and potato. Always hot and flavorful.

For my main course. I tend to always gravitate towards the stuffed chicken marsala. Big thick cut chicken breasts cooked perfectly. Stuffed with cheese and topped with a creamy marsala sauce over mashed potatoes.

For dessert I enjoy the tiramisu. You get the sweetness from the marscapone cheese with cocoa and the bitter yet sweetness of the espresso soaked ladyfingers.

Overall. A great experience. Great flavors. Wait staff is top notch. Only thing I mark down for is there is always a wait of 15+ minutes on a weekend evening. And they do not take reservations. Which. When you have a large party (we had a party of about 20 last time) it takes a while to get a spot whereas if you could reserve your spot. No waiting. Other than that. A great eatery.

Came here with my mom yesterday after an afternoon spent on Christmas shopping. It's located adjacent to the Stonestown mall. Considering that it was Black Friday weekend, I was expecting a long wait. However, ever since Macy's closed from this mall, it's been great with no crazy crowds. Needless to say, we were seated immediately.

My mom ordered the spaghetti & meatballs while I ordered a breaded chicken & shrimp over angel pasta. The entrees were well made and tasted very good. Also, the size portions were larger than I expected, so we had to box it and take it home. I love how they refilled our salad & bread bowls. Side note: extra salad bowl refills come complimentary with the entree. It's the same with soup side ordered with entree.

Our server was super friendly and attentive to our table. Our drinks were refilled without the need to ask. My mom loves this place so we will definitely return again.

Came here one Thursday night to celebrate my grandpa's birthday. We got the endless pasta bowl and it was a fun experience! What we learned is: if you order the highest price of meat (shrimp @~$5) then you can get all the cheaper meats for free. So if you get their chicken that's ~$3-4, you can get everything that's cheaper than that, but not the shrimp which is more expensive.

I always enjoy coming to Olive Garden but this time the service we received was exceptional. The waitress overheard that it was my grandpa's birthday and gathered a few others to come and sing "Happy Birthday" to him. They also notified us of a free dessert and suggested the least sweetest one for him. They made sure to put the strawberries/syrup in a separate container so that we had the option to add that in. I just thought that they were so considerate and sweet.

Totally love this Olive Garden. Thank you to our waitress (sorry I didn't catch your name!) but you made my grandpa's birthday one of the best!

I came on a Thursday night this time with my family, and the place was quite crowded. The server dropped off a bread basket right away. Unfortunately, the bread was way too salty, even if very soft and chewy.

For entree selections, everyone has the option of unlimited soup or bread. I always opt for the zuppa toscana soup, which is delicious. There was ample potato chunks, sausage, and kale that formed a light, creamy soup. Following that, I received my main, the seafood alfredo. The dish was very rich and creamy, especially topped off with a tad of cheese. The scallops and shrimp are on the firmer side and very tasty. All in all, a yummy dish that left me very full.

My one complaint is that the entrees took their sweet time to arrive, but this is understandable as the entire restaurant was quite full. In terms of service, our waiter didn't mince words, but was very efficient in terms of checking up on us, asking if we needed anything, and letting us know that our entrees were on the way.

Paying for the bill is also made simply by their Ziosk machine, which lets you pay with credit card and print the receipt at the table itself.

The service here was great, professional and friendly. There was no wait and we got seated as soon as we got in. We came at around 11:49am. It was my girls first time and my third I believe. We ordered the tour of Italy which consist of a chicken parmigiana, lasagna classico and their signature fettuccine alfredo for $22.99. We also created our own sampler Italiano. We decided to get 2 choices and chose the calamari and stuff mushrooms(with clams) for $11.99.

The first to arrive was the salad bowl. It was Caesar salad and it was a pretty big bowl and was more than enough to feed 2 people. We also got breadsticks. There is a bit so salt on the top but it tasted good and different than other places that served bread. Both the tour and sampler came out and the tour of Italy looked great. Our waiter also offered if we wanted cheese on our tour of Italy and of course we gladly said yes. I've ordered this before but haven't had it in years. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The lasagna was okay and the Alfredo was good but not really different than other places. The stuff mushrooms were different due to it having clams but I gotta say it was a pretty good combination. Also, the calamari was a good snack on the side. There are also dipping sauces that came with the sampler. Overall, it was a good experience. Food tasted good and filled us up and staff were great.

Externally hosted imageI had the stuffed chicken marsala yesterday, it is my go-to and it's always good. They did not give me enough marsala sauce this time but that's OK.

Next time ask for more sauce. They probably have a pan of it bubbling on the stove top.

DO YOU THINK IT'S easy to just copypasta and provided a quality new topic on MC?

At least the headline brought you in. Give them my name the next time you visit and they will give you extra bread sticks.

Apparently you're lactose intolerant.

It will be a tad more costly of course but consider mothers milk, which should match your genetic predisposition.

People in the process of becoming vegetables will be more comfortable in a Garden. Olive Trees provided the ideal atmosphere for vegetables to be.

With food of such exceptional quality is 15 minutes wait really that much of a bother? Where did you come up with 12 courses from that review and how did you arrive at her body weight.

Found one quick review at Olive Garden stonestown San Francisco.
Leya.
San Rafael, CA

Service:
Let me just say that our server was a delight. She was sweet, relatively attentive, and wasn't hesitant to admit any of her flaws if she knew something was wrong. She was very knowledgeable about food and gave us pretty good recommendations. She is the reason I give 5 stars instead of four. Kudos to her. It was hard sometimes to get a server or food runners attention. We had no plates to eat off of for a bit. Even though our sever was great, it was hard getting her attention sometimes.

The food quality of course was absolutely satisfying. We ordered the appetizer trio sampler with stuffed mushroom, mozzarella sticks, and zucchini bites. The main course of pasta with sausage. The sausage looked just like my husbands uncircumcised penis, except much smaller of course. Stuffed mushrooms looked just like the presidents penis as described by his ex girlfriend.

So much food. All of it yummy. Lots of leftovers to enjoy later. Thanks for not making us cook dinner.
The new creamy mushroom sauce could use more mushrooms though.
