Here is what I hate about them:
1. They pretend that their chefs are professionally-trained Italian masters. In reality, I know (firsthand) than they get all their stuff in frozen bags from a central distributor, and just heat them up in a pan.
2. Their commercials portray the most whitebread, Midwestern losers, who think that little cousin jokes are hilarious.

Mostly we dine out at Applebees but ever so often we put on our good clothes and make a reservation at The Olive Garde in the city. It feel so fancy in there and the food is so delicious its like an orgy of exquisite delights for your palette.
Every time we go I make sure to mention it at the office and I get jealous looks the rest of the day, lol.

Matt, you continue to act like you're a professional chef, when everything you have shown that you cooked, looks disgusting.
Continue using your online degree and find a cheap job.

Do you believe that Olive Garden is "fancy"?

@previous (Chef Excellence !aUQG2chI.U) > Their food and wine sucks.
Those who are intelligent check out reviews of restaurants before they decide to visit one.
> Their commercials portray the most whitebread, Midwestern losers, who think that little cousin jokes are hilarious.
Years ago the VCR was invented. Now Digital recording devices allow one to fast forward past a commercial. Only losers watch commercials.
> whitebread?
Does not exist in my dictionary.

Wait, ads for Olive Garden make it seem like a nice place go and play to the common television audience?! What kind of sinister plan will they come up with next?

A gluten free soy vegan would never murder a defenseless breadstick

"Remember the time Cousin Susie spilled the salad?"
I defy you to tell me how that "joke" is funny.

Not sure which ad you're talking about. Is this one one of the current McGarryBowen spots or is this something you're remembering from years ago? Current commercials are just cuts of families eating together with cuts of selected dishes selected by seasonal and regional marketing.

I'm still not sure which ad you're referencing. There are plenty of stupid commercials out there. They cater to the common denominator just like everything else on television.
Most of the Olive Garden advertising running now consists of scenes picturing families enjoying a meal. I'm not sure how it is different from any other commercial you might see for a chain restaurant.

I've never seen any of the commercials you are complaining about. I can't find any Italian master chefs or spilled salad in Olive Garden's current US network television and digital advertising runners. I've only checked the mainstream ads going through Grey Global. There might be some regional ads running on local cable or to targeted audiences. Maybe you could link some of the ads so I could better answer your question.

You mad because you did not have the skills to reheat and prevent food from burning. They fired your ass.
