usually the figure is very raw with no accounting for confounding variables
when accounting for other variables, the difference gets to the single digits

From what I've seen, this is caused because women don't work as many high paying jobs, including hard jobs like oil refiner, trash disposal, they work less overtime, and they leave due to having kids.

Let me tell you another story.
Remember that really bad hurricane that we had a year or two ago? Well everyone was forced to stay overnight at work and even some residents family members stayed.
