If one had to choose between traditional Chinese cuisine of the Kunming region meticulousally prepared by devoted chefs that treat their work as art and create healthy authentic dishes based on recipes passed down from generation to generation for centuries by Chinese chefs or a plate of bland tasteless mush plopped on a plastic tray for old people with little to no teeth and weak stomachs which option would you choose?

Filthy!
I was famished but their lack of hygiene made me lose my appetite. Ordered the 28 yuan mixian, which was quite tasty (& very spicy) - it came with thinly sliced cooked beef and various vegetables. Hubby had the 22 yuan mixian which came with raw pork slices etc and he didn't eat it as we weren't convinced the soup was hot enough to cook it properly. We eat a lot of street & hawker food but this place is really unhygienic. My bowl was badly cracked and chipped. Don't peek into the kitchen if you really must eat here, it'll make your stomach turn. I felt queasy after I left because of what I saw but didn't actually get stomach problems. Not coming back and not recommended!

Haha, Chinese food is probably too spicy for me! I'd take that nursing home food any day.
