LOL - I pass that place at least 3 times a month on my way to 99 Ranch Market - One hell of a fyne Asian markets. For sure I wood never ever buy any oil there, but the tanks of Live Lobsters and Dungeness Crabs. The 2Go Buffet always has Crispy Shrimp in Shells with full heads on - Fresh fish that you can pick up and stick nose close up 2check for off odors - Have them preped to your instructions at no charge
Towards the east is Zion market which is more Korean based - and then Convoy St with huge just Huge number of options ending in Nijiya Market and Mitsuwa.

Really one of the better places in SoCal to buy whole raw squid. Whether you're cooking with them, using them as holiday decorations, or trying to raise them from the dead after designing robot skeletons for them, 99 Ranch Market is the place to go for squid. Also they have have a good selection of sake and soju.
