How, you might wonder, would a tune from a 1972 album rank in 2018? Well it turns out that I never got around to hearing it until lately. Thanks to youtube, someone used it as background for some amusing bird video (in a "birb" compilation). I didn't know what it was, but eventually Roundabout came up for me in youtube, and then I recognized it as the birb song.
Another contender is Are Friends Elektrik? by Plastikman, from 1998, heard it just now for the first time. (No relation to the Gary Numan tune.)
As for whatever was actually released in 2018, fuck if I know.
