What do you think the Bitcoins system and reputation could survive? ie: Could you still exchange Bitcoins for money without worrying about a sting, or finding a website that won't go down after 15 minutes, after they are used to finance (the sky's the limit here)?

Look at what happened with Libery Dollars. The same thing could happen here. If it starts to get good enough to compete with Federal currency, guess what's gonna happen?

lol, liberty dollars got shut down because they used imagery from the US dollar and thus was considered counterfeit money because people may have been confused and think it was a US dollar.
Bitcoin will face no such problem, they'll have to come up with something new. ;P
