Touchscreen laptop
Full size laptop, not a tablet
Only uses really are to play default card games and browse some websites
Maybe some streaming sometime
For an older person without much tech savvy
Relatively sturdy would be nice
PC not Mac

Seriously though just go to Best Buy and purchase the cheapest 15 inch laptop they have (should be ~$300). Literally any new laptop will work great for playing solitaire.
