Topic: Trump's 2020 dilemma..

Robert former owner of the Gol started this discussion 7 years ago #80,562

face it...the Dumbocrats will try something (even if it's ridiculous) to unseat him..

he is either going to have to deport a million illegal immigrants (please God) or repeal the same sex marriage thing..

either of these things would guarantee a sure victory..

if the Dumbocrats have any sense at all...(as if lol) they will just sit back and not push too hard and not force him to go hardcore..

Obergefell v. Hodges, 576 U.S. ___ (2015) is a landmark civil rights case in which the

Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the fundamental right

to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples by both the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment ...

This was a Spit decision 5 to 4.

Trumps planting of two right wing pro rape Republicans could revisit this case.

Trumps best chance for 2020 is to rally up the KKK and White Nationalists - Most reside in the deep south. Deep south is that part of US that attempted to split off from USA and create a 100% Slave run operation. Fortunately the southern soldiers drank a lot and were quickly put in their place.

Today we have member bert here on mc, who in that fine tradition of service to country failed to make the grade. Typical of a southern gentlemen.

9/10 of that time..

This is an example of what happens when a Navy crew goofs up and lets a cargo ship hit it. 9/10 was not exactly good enough.

And that is why the South lost the civil war. Real men fight on. Pussy's turn and run away.
The good news is that is the basis of Trump supporters. 2020 they will be too drunk to vote.

It's time for trump to scrap democracy and become the emperor of mankind.

That is a fictional (and shitty) film, Bert. Lincoln was a fanny bandit, though.

Sometimes Bert is useful. This post is like a window to the simplistic world of Trump's base. A world where an opposition party trying to win is outrageous and against their own interests, and repealing gay marriage is an election winner.

You have to go hard in the paint against such evil..

This is exactly why George Washington spoke against the formation of political parties. Idiots like you don't take real issues into account. They just support their party and spout off inane bullshit, to make themselves feel right.

Party lines and loyalty were drawn to the point of personal bitterness and public destructiveness. Such division along party lines represented the most severe split between the two political factions since the inception of the republic. It made a deep impact upon Washington and the memory must have been in his mind as he wrote about the very real capacity of political parties to destroy the fragile unity holding the nation together.

how much time do you think had passed between this viewpoint attributed to Washington...and the 'inception of the republic'..

think about that and then tell me that such a supposedly realization is profound in any sense of the word..

retard..

you are attempting to make this seem profound merely because it was said by washington...who no doubt owned slaves by the way..
the fact is he was basing his opinion on a very short period of time..

WTF? replied with this 7 years ago, 5 minutes later, 10 hours after the original post[^] [v] #937,604

That God you believe in also owned slaves. After all he made them. He also made Natzi's and Osama Bien Laden.

@937,598 (A)

About 6-7 years, but this holds no grounds either. As great ideas often come in an instant. They talk about(in that article, in that very paragraph) how Washington witnessed turmoil in the voting public, ever since the formation of poltical parties. Which were formed by the public during Washington's first term. Before that, there were no political parties. Everybody wanted GW to be president so badly, that despite the fact he didn't want the position he still took it. No parties necessary. Even after they had formed, people begged him to take a second term. Are you simply saying George Washington wasn't perceptive enough to see the selfdestructive nature of this new political system? That doesn't seem very patriotic to me. Read the fucking article, and try forming a rebuttal that actually has some sort of meaning.

are you that bird brained...are you really..

ok I tire of this...but I will attempt to make one point here...take it or leave it..

Washington...and many other leaders and policy makers of his and later times were wise and were gentleman with great character and integrity..

our constitution...and the wisdom of Washington and other who followed him are what has enabled us to be the awesome country we have always been..

howsomever consider the term. check and balances....sure you may attribute that to mean the way the three branches of our government operate to achieve fairness and efficiency and such...but also it applies...in my view to how we have the different political parties and how such a system protects us from awful shenanigans..

pffffft..

I'm tired...whatever..

people that say the two parties are like professional wrestling where the two sides fake fight and then meet up and party are a dumbass..

there is right and there is wrong..
