It's a shitstorm of meaningless strivings toward a pointless series of goals that amount to nothing. Each day we have to trick ourselves into finding meaning in something so we can convince ourselves it is worth continuing one more day. The realization of the nonexistence of meaning threatens to destroy what fragile sanity we can find in the fulfillment of our wishes and expectations. Amusing ourselves to death with the process of life is how we will all die.
At least we have Red Baron pizza.
