Lefty here. I just learned to play right handed. I didn't know how to play guitar to begin with so there was no knowledge base to screw with me. In addition, I found that the fingers on my left hand were more nimble for different fingerings as well as fretting. But, having said that, i would have probably bought a left handed one too if i had the chance.

I see. Yeah if you learned to play lefty then that's how you would stay. Unless you lose a hand abd have it replaces by a hook. Then you break a lot of strings. I started out with shit like The Dead Kennedys and Nirvana but I wanted faster and harder abd heavier so I ended up playing Slayer abd Cannibal Corpse type of shit. For me it was like a drug that wasn't strong enough abd I kept going to the next thing.
