I am writing a children's book. "Crafting Gecko" is the title.
It is filled with simple sentences and drawings of a gecko. It reads, "You open up my package, revealing a crafting gecko. The crafting gecko is strong. The crafting gecko is thick. The crafting gecko is dark in color. The crafting gecko is mischievous. The crafting gecko plunges down your throat. You love the crafting gecko."
Yes, it is simplistic and nonsensical. You must remember it is designed to be read to children with limited reading skills. I know that there are lots of people trying to do children's books these days, but I feel that mine has something unique. It is just so simple and off the wall. That is the subtle stroke of genius that it has. I love working with children and have a feel for them. Even if you think this is stupid, I think it has great potential.
