The Irish guy tries to make his name sound more Hispanic (Robert becomes "Beto"), and the Cuban guy tries to make his name sound less Hispanic (going by "Ted" instead of Rafael).

i like seeing how people pronounce names differently in english vs the language the name is in when they speak both languages
because it's rub-air-toe in italian but italianspeaking people still just say rob-ur-toe in english
