This! My cat is the sweetest cat ever. Never been cranky. Even if you wake her up she will just purr and curl up. Cats are awesome.

Only playfully. Unless it's a bad breed or something bad has happened to the cat. You can easily test it by pretending to hit the cat, if it flinches it has met bad humans. My cat just looks at me funny if I do that. Not a bad bone in her body.

But its only a good test if you already know that an animal hasn't been abused. If it has been abused it thinks, this bitch just tried to hit me.
Also assuming that an animal can't be naturally skittish is bizarre to me. Not everything or everybody likes to be touched.

Lol, true. Keep your distance with any animal you don't know, or human for that matter. I'm pretty good with cats for some reason they seem to like me.

back in the day...in another time I was angry with a particular person on an online community that I was a regular poster at..

her and a friend of hers were chatting and they were talking about cute cuddly cats...and I posted a picture which was a fifty five gallon drum apparently filled to the brim with dead cats..

They acted like I had killed their grandmother with a hammer..

I have a cat btw and I love it like crazy...and everyday I treat it very well and we are very happy with each other's company..
