Topic: Does anyone else here have a large interest in Mesopotamia?

It's literally the Garden of Eden of civilization and in some cases is the actual garden from the stories we tell. One of the rivers is noted in the Bible. Everything they did they did for the first time. They had no idea of things to come. They didn't know the Roman Empire was going to be a significant one in human history or even the British Empire infesting the world. Or the United States of America banning the practice of slavery and kings. It was at the threshold of nomadic life and civilized life. Hang the ISIL bastards who keep destroying these relics! Mesopotamia!

It's an interesting period.

I'm pretty sure that's in Missouri.

You think your country was the first one to do either of those things?

@previous (D)
England was the first nation to abolish slavery, but they still have their monarchy so they don't get credit there.

Correcto

Joseph Smith said the Garden of Eden was located in the vicinity of Independence, Missouri, and that after Adam and Eve were banished from the garden

He never said where they went after being banished. I am thinking Canada.
