Is there less of a risk of faulty machines when they use paper ballots? I got scared of leaving ballots blank because machines might change someone’s vote.

51/47 and 2 independents to be exact. It only happened like 5 times before in the past 100 years that a sitting presidents party gained seats in the senate. Obama lost a bunch of senate seats and about 60 house seats in his first midterms.
