This probably wouldn't be deleted today, so it's only right that it's unrelated now.
It's quite fascinating, at least for me, to think back about how early Minichan was quite concerned about quality. The staff of the day would be harder on outright shitposts like this and would encourage users to try to keep post quality up. I think sim himself said, the basic goal was to have a chan kind of website but without the usual chan shitposting.
Of course, that sort of fell apart a few years in and the moderation became much more relaxed. I think that's a good thing, though. I think the present-day culture and moderation style is much better suited to a chan. Pushing for high quality across the board was never really going to work on a website like this.
