They always bring up Donald’s name with their lame memes, and it is always by someone on the left. The right seems to have moved on and they laugh while the left cry more and more about Trump being President. Why are the left so obsessed with trump?

Most of the right (eg the Bush/McCain/GOP establishment) isn't on the Trump train. Trump's a populist, not a conservative.
