yes sometimes you hear of some guy stuck in an airport or a country deports a guy who was born there but someone didn't qualify legally to be a citizen, and gets deported to some country that doesn't give a shit about the guy either and so that's fucked
there's some international agreement that such people aren't supposed to be treated like that
