I mean, look at some of our first cities, Ur comes to mind for me. Place yourself in the shoes of a citizen then who has no idea of the history that is to come with such great empires like the Romans, the British, and even the Americans.

I think in 100 years we'll be disgusted with modern medicine. I bet things get really gross once super drugs make things like infections no longer a concern. And if we cure cancer then pollution will be nuts if there's no public health risk. We'll all be living in an irradiated and toxic overpopulated mega city and smoking cigarettes dipped in superbiotics.
