I shall be in Jew York for 3 days next week. Recommend me a affordable and really good restaurant outside of the tourist areas, also a trendy bar will be nice that isn't popular with black people.

Want a good eatery, the sort of place that is kind of healthy and isn't all meat and potato but at the same time not all vegan.

One from the list - Difficult because the Trailer Park themed might be more to your speed.
The Black Ant
60 2nd Ave, New York
212-598-0300
A real-life Fear Factor, this unusual, hip East Village Mexican joint tries to stay above the fray by offering food laden with insects. Yep, insects. Hence its name The Black Ant, which serves an appetizer of black ant guacamole and, for dinner, grasshopper-crusted shrimp. With a cocktail-lounge atmosphere and a hip flair with warm wooden tables and bistro-tiled floors, the Black Ant isn’t a freak show and also offers many well-prepared dishes that aren’t, well—infested with insects.

Actually from my research one can blame fried foods on the Portuguese. Tempura in Japan for instance is all about the Portuguese.
However when it comes to Fried Chicken and this one surprised Thee
The Scots, and later Scottish immigrants to the southern United States, had a tradition of deep frying chicken in fat as far back as the middle ages, unlike their English counterparts who baked or boiled chicken. When it was introduced to the American South, fried chicken became a common staple

Someone somewhere called it Cultural plagiarism, but with China now growing more potatoes than any other place on Planet Earth by a wide margin and not one person thinks of a potato when it comes to One Hung Low preparing Chinese food.
Chilies are from South America and the Chinese come along and use them to cover up horrid food no one wood eat without them -
Note: the food could be terrific but with short cuts and need to substitute rat dog n cat because Chinese people are just dumb as all fuck when it comes to adulteration of food.
A quick look at history of Fried Chicken and the Blacks from Africa added spices to the spice less Scot version making it far more better
Also one surprise from my quick search on history of Fried Chicken - The truly SPICY Hot Friend Chicken came about because a Mad as all Fuck Girlfriend Spiked her BF Chicken with Ground Chilies and instead of him hating it he loved it so much he went into the biz of opening a joint to serve it
