There were five seconds in the Texas Senate debate that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) would probably like to redo.

Following a conversation about civility in politics, Cruz was asked to say something that he has done outside of his duties as an elected official that has helped the people.

Cruz stood in deafening silence unable to answer. He let out a sharp exhale and shook his head while looking down at his podium.

It is a shame he does not know my name because by supporting Trump he sure has helped me.

Never bet my Beach home. Bet the equivalent of a cost of Condo.

All that is now water under the bridge. However lesson learned and will not (probably) bet on election again.

Also not in my most wild of imagination could I imagine Trump helping to save my ass as quickly as he did

Now you know that Republicans are the party of the Lord, and the Lord only helps those who help themselves, being a lazy motherfucker

Well now that you bring it up, I was thinking about taking a look down the crick for a narrow spot where I could easily cross. The pickins have been better over ther in the past

I've known religious Republicans who perform many charitable acts. For instance, one I know but lunches for kids in the neighborhood on the days that they don't have school.

Shit Ted, we know you live in a bubble where paid helpers shoo away all the poor people so you don't have to see them. All you had to say was something appropriately wishy-washy like "I give to my church" or something.

What's wrong with lunches? Buying lunches for a whole neighborhood of kids gets expensive. Don't you think that they liked getting to eat?

Did they ever? I always remember them being the party that was out for themselves. At least, according to their reputation.

Yeah, well, sadly parties tend to be defined by the politicians who represent them.

Every fucking scandal I hear about seems to involve the Republicans. This includes sex scandals that it makes me question how many times the Democrats had them and the only one I have so far is Bill Clinton.

Have you Google Democrats and sex scandals?

What about Anthony Wiener?
