YeH, ok OP. Idk what's really going on with SC anymore. I havent kept up. I heard there was a Citizen Con which I usually watch, but I missed the live show. Will eventually watch the thing on you tube.
Heard there's about to be another big update which will add a proper planet and a lot more gameplay to go along with it. There's a new city which is supposed to be something like 30 square miles. They also added face over IP (FOIP) which does face tracking and gives you control over your characters facial expressions. Kinda neat.
Not sure what else is out or will be out. New ships I'd imagine, and probably some new profession. Maybe repair? Idk.
It's still faaaar from completion. Like years still. I did my best to keep up, but like 5 or 6 years out I've lost interest in the development. I just want to ignore it until it releases so I can just play it and not spend all my time testing it.

You have done the verse a great service with your early testing, you deserve a break Colonel!
I think you shouldn't bank on a hard "release" or anything with such finality in the near future, but I do hope you'll continue to keep your eyes open for big milestones and keep minichan in the loop.
I haven't really touched the game at all yet, so I'm going in basically blind if I decide to start playing at this point. I'd like to become at least a little more familiar with the gameplay before the bigger updates hit. I still don't know how to fly or hit targets really, but I've always sucked at dog-fighting in vidya.
