Topic: Idea: kiosks to dispense halloween candy to kids.

Each kid in the neighborhood gets an RFID card, and they just go up to the house and tap their card on the kiosk and it dispenses one or two candies. Each RFID card is unique, so this prevents kids coming to the same house twice. It also ensures candy is dispensed equally per kid.
Now what's the benefit you ask? It allows people to play video games in peace while the kids trick or treat. So you don't have to sit on the porch all night dispensing candy.

Also this limits kids to only their own neighborhood, since the RFID card will only work in the kid's local neighborhood. This keeps kids closer to home and thus safer.

Also it prevents grownups from trick or treating.

Also if you're Baptist or something you could set the kiosk to dispense Chick tracts instead of candy and save the kids from going to hell.

@OP
I'll just keep dispensing candy from the back of my van. Thanks.

I hope that idea is never implemented. I love having kids come to my mom's house on Halloween and asking me for candy.

Imagine you were the kid that would go to the same house more than once with different costumes but they always knew you were the same kid because there were no kids as overweight as you.

Why not just sit on the porch with a bowl of candy and a shotgun? Make them question if they should come to your doorstep.

Why DO panel van drivers always have a lost puppy they need help finding? You'd think it would be pretty hard to lose a puppy in the back of a Ford Econoline... ?

I've never lost a puppy, but I have had a hard time moving all this furniture since my arm has been in a sling.
