Tabs are more like Opera BUT one cannot slide them as one can in Opera and that slide with the glide was so cool.

They've added a few things. Tab grouping, better support for HTML5 (canvas in particular), and lots of security updates. It performs better too, for me it opens at about the same speed as Chrome does. There's no changes in the user interface, but there wasn't supposed to be. They're doing what Opera and Chrome do now; smaller but more frequent releases.
