If you mean classic literature, then I'd say Dostoevsky's 'Brothers Karamazov' is one of the finest expositions of the Christian theology that I've read. It contains the famous 'Grand Inquisitor' section, many of whose sentiments have now been adopted by Christians whether they realize their origins or not.
Lev Tolstoy was another great 'Christian' writer, though he adopted a very severe and ascetic form of the faith later in his life, living effectively as a monk. His last novel, Resurrection, is his most concise literary statement on Christianity.
And finally, though it is not overtly Christian, Shakespeare's King Lear is in my opinion his masterpiece and expresses the Christian ideology as well as any other work of art. I asked how that would prove I am a priest, since a) he does not know my name, and b) there are no "diplomas" in being a priest. You attain qualifications in theology and then depending on the diocese enter seminaries for extra training. To be a priest requires having a degree in theology or 'divinity', whereas having a degree in theology does not require being a priest. Hence posting a degree would not 'prove' I am a priest.
Think of it this way Catherine - being a woman means having breasts, but having breasts does not mean being a woman. A man can have breasts, for example. Do you see?
